The short version
Last updated: June 5, 2026. Questions or appeals should go through the
Community hub.
01
Be respectful
Treat other players like people you want to see again tomorrow. Jokes and friendly rivalry are welcome; harassment and hate are not.
- No slurs, threats, targeted harassment, doxxing, or sexual content.
- Keep names, skins, builds, signs, and chat appropriate for the community.
- Do not impersonate staff or other players.
02
Play fair
Do not use cheats, exploits, automation, or hidden information to gain an unfair advantage.
- No hacked clients, duping, botting, macro abuse, x-ray, or anticheat bypasses.
- Report serious bugs instead of abusing them.
- Accessibility tools, shaders, and normal resource packs are fine when they do not automate play or reveal hidden information.
03
Respect builds and worlds
Shared worlds should feel worth returning to. Build with care and leave other players' work alone unless you have permission.
- No griefing, stealing, claim bypassing, or harassment traps.
- Clean up temporary clutter near public areas.
- Ask before editing another player's claim, shop, farm, or redstone.
04
Trade clearly
Player deals, shops, and economy systems work best when expectations are clear.
- Do not scam, chargeback, exploit unclear shop wording, or abuse payment systems.
- Do not sell accounts, items, ranks, or services for real money outside approved NerdsMC systems.
- If a trade goes wrong, keep screenshots and contact staff.
05
Use common sense
Staff may moderate behavior across the server, Discord, forms, events, and related community spaces when it affects NerdsMC players.
- Do not evade bans, mutes, cooldowns, or staff decisions.
- Do not disrupt events, playtests, support, or moderation work.
- Reports and appeals should be calm, specific, and honest.
